This project was the complete interior design and decoration of a new house for a family of five. In collaboration with Stafford Architecture the interiors responded to the site and were designed to integrate with the garden and the building.

On an elevated position overlooking the harbour, the house sits as a clean crisp form on Bellevue Hill. Our brief was to create an interior the infuses the house with warmth and texture while still responding to the architecture itself. With an abundance of daylight from all angles, the interiors are characterised by a dark palette that gives the interiors depth and intimacy.

The house opens entirely to the garden and in so doing the interiors were designed for a seamless connection. The external paving runs through the main living areas and the greens of the tree canopy are represented in the draped linen ceiling.
