House Taurus

Working within the fluid forms of Durbach Block Jagger’s architecture, the interiors of House Taurus were designed as a refined and tactile response to the harbour setting. Within these sculptural spaces each element was carefully detailed to bring out the inherent beauty of the materials.

The way the sunlight moves through the spaces and interacts with the forms and materials was a key part to the interior planning and detailing. Natural timber, leather and rough textured stone gives the interiors a sense of rawness within the concrete architecture and still provides the client with a luxurious and restrained sense of luxury.
