About the role

As an Architect at Richards Stanisich, you will collaborate with our directors, senior team, and clients to design, document, and oversee the construction phases of various projects. Our ideal candidate will manage projects independently and communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and builders. You have a strong understanding of planning frameworks, BCA & Australian standards and are confident in technical documentation skills and construction detailing. This role offers a significant opportunity for you to make your mark on the residential architecture industry.

About you

• Minimum of 4 years post-graduation experience in a range of projects focusing on residential architecture
• Proficiency in Autocad is ideal; experience with Revit is valued. Other CAD software will also be taken into consideration
• Thorough knowledge of construction methodologies, relevant building codes and local council requirements
• Outstanding communication abilities, encompassing visual, verbal, and written
• Experience effectively leading small teams
• Proficiency in working through all project phases, encompassing Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation, and Construction Services.
• Preferably registered, not essential

Key responsibilities

• Conceptual sketching and planning
• Understanding and leading the project brief, its objectives and scope
• Coordinating and communicating effectively between Clients, Consultants, and local Councils to meet various requirements
• Overseeing the project team and delegating tasks
• Lead site contact
• Delivering projects, both hands-on and in a supervisory role, within set timelines and budget constraints
