Our Natural Needs in a Digital World

Richards Stanisich were one of 10 Australian designers nominated for the tri-annual design award.

Industrial black gloss tiles edged with blue light line the outer layer of the exhibition space, representing the intangible dimensions of the digital world. Placed in the centre of the space the kitchen/living and sleeping zones, detailed with expressive handmade and earthy qualities represent our natural needs. The contrast of these two divergent realms represents the synergy between these two very different spaces that form our interior dwelling space.
