The Buena

The Buena feels exactly how a pub in Mosman should; iconic, quality-driven, rich in detail yet full of character. Restored to its original 1940s layout, the timber- and leather-panelled public bar presents a contemporary feel whilst referring to the pubs rich history. Authentic materials with a natural finish and detailed glass panelling add depth, light, and contrast throughout.

A glazed extension, inspired by conservatories, was added to the original Hotel building to house the restaurant Bistro Moncur Mosman. With an open kitchen and an internal courtyard, this space is characterised by transparency and light – a deliberate juxtaposition against the thick set Art Deco hotel.
